Chris:- Another lovely walk in the Weald and across the Rother Valley. 11 walkers headed out from Mayfield past an ancient iron furnace site and on to Wadhurst deer park. Across the Rother Valley and up to Burwash for lunch. Rudyard Kipling! was resting on a bench in Burwash and enjoying the gloriously sunny weather. Returned to Mayfield via Witherenden and Hawksdown Woods.
