19 walkers set off in chilly and misty conditions, passing Brighton Racecourse en route to Ovingdean.
Turned inland over tracks and paths eventually arriving at The Abervagenny Arms at Rodmell for lunch.
18 walkers continued after lunch along the valley towards Itford and Swanborough Manor.
Again headed up onto the Downs via a very challenging hill to pass Castle Hill Nature Reserve before
wending our way back to our start point.
A very enjoyable walk ably led by Martin.
